New Contract WorkbookWelcome to the pharmacy contract section of the website. This section contains details of the NHS community pharmacy contractual framework (CPCF), the details of which are agreed between PSNC, NHS England and the Department of Health (DH).

The detail of the Contract

The contract is made up of three different service levels:

Essential services - provided by all contractors;

Advanced services - can be provided by all contractors once accreditation requirements have been met; and

Locally commissioned services - previously described as Enhanced services, commissioned locally by Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups and NHS England in response to the needs of the local population.

Pharmacy Contract Funding

The Contract Funding section of the website provides a summary of the contract financial arrangements including information on payments, fees and allowances.

 

 


Pharmacy Contract NHS Regulations

Implementation of the contract is via NHS Regulations; more information on the NHS (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations is available in the Regulations section of this website.
