National Meeting of LPCs and PSNC

Thursday, 12 May, 2022 10am - 3pm
Hybrid online and in-person in Central London


This will be a hybrid meeting, which means those LPC members who would like to attend the event in person can do so, while those who are either unable or would prefer not to attend in person, can livestream the event from the comfort of their own home.

For those opting to attend in person, the venue for the event is the Congress Centre. The address for this venue is as follows: 28 Great Russell St, London WC1B 3LS. The Congress Centre is in central London, with the closest train station to the venue being Tottenham Court Road which is a London Underground station on the Central Line.

Each LPC can send one delegate to attend the event in person. This could be the LPC Chair or Chief Officer. However, LPCs are free to send another representative to the conference if they wish. LPCs are permitted to invite extra members to the event via the livestream option.

11.10am: Break (Virtual delegates will be able to network during the break sessions via the following Zoom link. Note: you will be automatically assigned to a breakout room)

11.30am: Chief Pharmaceutical Officer Keynote and Q&A (David Webb, Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for England)

12.00pm: Pharmacy Education and Training Reforms and Q&A (Richard Cattell, Deputy Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for England, Nick Haddington, Pharmacy Dean, Health Education England, and Helen Porter, Pharmacy Dean)

12.40pm: LPC breakout discussion session (Virtual delegates will be asked to join one of five breakout discussion sessions via the following Zoom link)

1pm: Lunch (Virtual delegates will be able to network during the lunch break via the following Zoom link. Note: you will be automatically assigned to a breakout room)

2pm: Integrated Care System Delegation and Q&A (Taryn Harding,  Deputy Director, Commissioning Policy Commissioning Policy Group and Dr Jill Loader FRPharmS, Deputy Director – Pharmacy Commissioning for England)

2.30pm: LPC Breakout discussion session (Virtual delegates will be asked to join one of five breakout discussion sessions via the following Zoom link)

2.55pm: Summary (James Wood, PSNC Director of Contractor and LPC Support)

3pm: Close

In-person attendance

PSNC is committed to abiding by the relevant good practice guidance provided by the venue and HM Government concerning the steps that can be taken to minimise the risk of catching and spreading COVID-19.

If you are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms (a high temperature, new and persistent cough, or a loss of/change in sense of taste or smell), please do not attend. A live-stream option is available as an alternative and there will not be a cancellation fee.

Remote attendance

Those who have informed us that they will be will livestreaming the event will receive full joining information after the event registration closes. The online viewing platform will consist of a livestream plus a question feed, along with other interactive engagement tools.
